Hello all you wonderful listeners!

With the imminent return (well, in six months time of Ace to Doctor Who, James and Drew follow the Yellow Brick Road where we first met Dorothy McShane in 1987 – and Dragonfire! Has it stood the test of time?

Before we find out, the guys take advantage of recording together for the first time in ages and basically, yabber about Doctor Who for 15 mins. Sanity is then restored in the form of Ian who presents the finale of our Nine Lives series. Looking back as Series 1 has been quite a journey and it’s not without a tear that James and Ian review The Parting of The Ways.

Join us shortly for Episode 343 – if the (totally baseless) rumours are to be believed, we may have some rather exciting casting news to discuss! If we don’t, then we’ll have a in-depth critical analysis of Delta of the Bannerman instead. You are of course, Most Welcome.

Enjoy the show.

Join James, Phil, Michele, Ian and Brent and for the latest day trip in the Campervan! There’s a Ninth Doctor theme this month with the return of Nine Lives

Before that, James and Phil meander through the recent 60th Anniversary rumours and make yet more baseless predictions that have not a single hope of coming true. Ian and Michele then return to discuss the penultimate story in Series 1, Bad Wolf – and then Brent then drops by and joins Michele in reviewing Her Own Bootstraps, a Ninth Doctor Short Trip Big Finish story by Amy Veeres.

You can get in touch with the campervan crew in the usual ways – send an email to feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, find us on Twitter or on Facebook.

Enjoy the show!

Join Phil and James as they preview the now imminent Series 13 – Chapter 1 of Flux will be on our telly boxes in a week’s time!

They also attempt to catch up on all the Who news/goings-on in Whodom that happened straight after the release of the last DWP! So the trailer for Flux, the mysterious materialisation/re-matarialisation of the BBC’s Doctor Who social media channels – and the announcement that Classic Series 17 will be the next to be given the bluray treatment are all covered here. Surely nothing else can be announced? Episode titles for Flux perhaps?! NAH!!!

We’ll be back as soon as possible after Flux airs next Sunday – enjoy the show but more importantly, enjoy Doctor Who being back on the telly!

In another timey-wimey epsiode of the DWP, Michele, James, Phil and Ian join you for an hour’s amble through the various eras of Doctor Who. Timey-wimey you say? Well yes – this was recorded before Russell T Davies played HAVOC with our scheduling, so it misses the recent Series 13 and the latest Blu Ray announcements This will be remedied shortly!

We do however cover the new Galaxy Four animation and the wonderful news that Christopher Eccleston is returning to Big Finish for another series of Ninth Doctor audio adventures.

The lions share of this episode however covers The Romans which Phil, Ian and James discuss – and then we dive into some Big Finish goodness as James and Michele review the recent Sixth Doctor release, The Eleven. If all that temporal confusion and strange numbering doesn’t confuse you, nothing will!

We will be back shortly with our preview of Season 13 which will be back on our telly boxes in just a couple of weeks.

Enjoy the show!

Join James and Drew as they try to remember they are supposed to be talking about how the news that Jodie Whittaker and Chis Chibnall are moving on has been received in the United States of America. However, they end up going off on all kind of geeky-tangents!

PLEASE NOTE this Episode was recorded the day BEFORE the news broke that Russell T Davies is returning to the show. If you’re after the Campervan’s take on that development, it’s already online here! Go grab! But make sure you come back for this one too – it’s still contains audio-gold!

Episode 326 will be online next week, a little later than planned given the quite frankly extraordinary events of the last ten days!

Enjoy the show.

Join Ian and James in the campervan as they attempt to process the news that former showrunner, Russell T Davies will take over from Chris Chibnall when he leaves Doctor Who with Jodie Whittaker in 2022.

We’ll be back with a more considered reaction shortly – let us know what you think and we’ll include your thoughts in the show! Send us an MP3 (no more than two mins) or jot your thoughts down in an email and send it to us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com!

Enjoy the show!

It’s another Special episode of the DWP! Join James and Phil as they discuss the (not so) recent news that Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall are to leave Doctor Who in 2022 – a mere year before the show’s sixtieth anniversary! The discussion reaches far and wide and ventures into uncharted parts of the vortex as far as the Campervan is concerned. Intrigued? Tune in!

Why not join in the conversation?! We always love hearing from listeners and we’re very keen to hear what you make of the news.

Send in your thoughts and feedback (audio or written) on anything Who or DWP related and we’ll discuss on an upcoming episode. Email us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, get in touch on Twitter or search for us on Facebook.

We’ll be back shortly with Episode 325!

Enjoy the show.

Join James and Phil as they discuss – nothing in particular! Yes, jump on board the Campervan as the chaps hit record and ramble on about the latest goings-on in the Whoniverse including the latest rumours and news, the recent screening of Dragonfire at the BFI and the delightful Season 8 blu ray box set. True to form however, it’s only a matter of time before conversation turns to Big Finish – who have been prolific in their release schedule over the last few months.

Drew and Michele drop in to discuss Full Fathom Five, a story from the Unbound range that features David Collings as the Doctor!

As always, we’d love to hear from you. Send in your thoughts and feedback (audio or written) on anything Who or DWP related and we’ll discuss on an upcoming episode. Email us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, get in touch on Twitter or search for us on Facebook.

Join us again next month for the return of Desert Island Who! What would YOU watch?!

Join James and Phil as they chew over the recent release of Series 8 on blu ray! Which Series 8? The ORIGINAL, you might Say! The Third Doctor era is one many of the current Campervan Crew hold dear, so this latest set of stories gets quite a lot of DWP lurve!

Also, find out about an upcoming set of mini-DWPs, cryptically called Eighth Wonder! What could that possibly be about? Tune in to find out!

And then, find a deck chair, pull on your Hawaiian swimming togs, order a pina colada with a swirly straw and listen to James talk to Drew about his choices for the latest edition of Desert Island Who! The conversation reaches parts of fandom not usually covered by us on the DWP….!

As always, we’d like to hear from you! Send in your thoughts and feedback (audio or written) and we’ll discuss on a (now imminent) feedback edition of the DWP. What stories would you take to our desert island?! Let us know by emailing us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, getting in touch on Twitter or by searching for us on Facebook.
