Join James and Trev as they travel back to 1985 and talk Daleks. Revelation of the Daleks to be precise. But before they make the short-hop to Necros, they discuss last week’s announcement that Deep Breath will screen in cinemas across the globe, talk about Big Finish adapting some of Virgin’s Missing and New Adventures books and head into the annex where Ian and Michele wax lyrical about Big Finish’s Eight Doctor and Charley play, Scaredy Cat.

Enjoy the show.

Join James, Trevor and Tom as their individual virtual space timelines finally converge.  And strangely, they have nothing structured to discuss.  But since when did that stop them? Sit down and grab your e-ticket to the reunion of the original DWP line-up for the first time in over a year.

And fear not – Ian and Michele return to represent the sane faction of the DWP presenting team in their review of the second story in the most recent season of Fourth Doctor and Leela Big Finish plays, White Ghosts.

Join Stephen and Ian as they conclude our mini-series looking back at the Key to Time season.  And for those of you who have been asking, the theme tune for this seies was put together by our very own Leeson Fischer.  Stay tuned for an extended version of it at the end of this episode.

The DWP turns its collective eye towards the news of the upcoming Series 8.

There is talk of spoilers.  There is talk of leaked scripts.  There is talk of trailers.  In fact, there is quite a lot of talk.  Not unusual for a podcast mind, but… my word there is a lot of talk in this episode.

Even with all that talk, listeners can rest assured that they will remain undamaged (even if their ear drums do not) from any spoilers for the new series.  We keep you spoiler free because we care.

And also because we don’t know anything.

Enjoy the show!

Join James and Stephen Elsden in part two of our special mini-series revisiting The Key to Time series. This time, The Stones of Blood and The Androids of Tara are put under the DWP microscope.

Join Leeson, Ian and Michele as they travel back in time to Christmas last year, when the second of the two highly anticpated 2013 Matt Smith episodes aired for the first time.  Has the relatively short period since broadcast had an impact on the Campervan’s occupants opinion of the story? Has the seven months been kind to it?!  Find out in the final instalment of our Regenerations Series!

Ian and Michele also dive into a new Big Finish range, the third series of the Fourth Doctor plays.  This time around, The King of Sontar is put under the microscope.

Welcome to a brand new series of mini-DWPs!  In Re-Cutting The Key to Time, good friend of show, Mr Stephen Elsden shares his thoughts about the stories that comprise The Key To Time season. Long term DWP listeners (yes, there are a few!) will remember Stephen from our 7th Heaven and Re-Trial of a Time Lord featurettes where he talked about watching classic episodes of Doctor Who for the very first time many years after their original transmission.

In the first episode, he talks to James about The Ribos Operation and Ian about The Pirate Planet.

And this is in addition to your regular weekly DWP – we’ll be back next week with Episode 265!

Join James, Stephen, Tom and very special guest Kyle Anderson as they convene to discuss the much maligned tenth Doctor swan-song, The End of Time. This story has is supporters – it finished 82nd in the recent poll by Doctor Who Magazine – higher than A Christmas Carol, higher than The Snowmen and (criminally) higher than The Twin Dilemma; but do this week’s campervan occupants rate it?!

If you like sane, sensible and measured anaysis rather than our usual ramblings, Kyle regularly contributes to The Nerdist, usually about Doctor Who but he does dare to go off topic on occasion. He is also a co-host on both the Doctor Who: The Writers Room and WTF Are You Watching?! podcasts – go check out his stuff!

Join us next week when we get all Christmassy again (yes, in July) as we take on Time of the Doctor in our penultimate Regenerations review.
