Michele and James are back to bring you the latest episode of the DWP. They are joined early on by Drew and Ian for the latest installment of Nine Lives which has reached Episode 9 of Series 1, Boom Town.

Michele then goes through her list of Doctor Who media that she has been reading, watching and listening to – James joins her in discussing The Gunfighters, Twice Upon a Time followed by the rather wonder Shooting Scripts book that complements both the 2005 Series and our Nine Lives saga alike. And of course, what podcast would be complete without a quick round up on the latest following the (not so recent) news that Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall will leaving Doctor Who next year?!

Yes, he’s back! Christopher Eccleston has finally dusted off the ol’ leather jacket and returned to the role of Ninth Doctor, courtesy of Big Finish Productions. Join long term fans of Big Finish James, Ian and Michele as they talk about Ravages, the first Ninth Doctor box set of audio plays in the most spoiler-free way possible. Be warned – every fan’s spoiler threshold varies and whilst pains have been taken not to reveal story details, even the most minor point can spoil the enjoyment for some- so listening is ENTIRELY at your own risk! Gottit?! Fantastic! 🙂

Phil joins James later in the show to discuss how his (now finished) TARDIS-build! This conversation was recorded some time ago but did not make it onto a previous DWP for timing reasons. It is however, such a wonderful discussion and cements Phil’s status as uber-fan so profoundly that we just had to find a spot for it! Hot on the heels of Eighth Wonder earlier this month, Drew, James, Ian, Michele and Phil get together for another excursion in the DWP Campervan. Poor Brent is still convalescing after spending a week discussing retro-genitor particles! (The 25% discount off Dark Eyes 1 is still valid, but only until the end of April 2021!)

Firstly, James and Drew catch up and discuss Season Eight on blu-ray (or at least the parts James has seen to date), the lack of Daleks in Dalek Universe 1 and generally, how brilliant a job Big Finish are doing at keeping companions from the sixties-era alive in brand new stories.

Phil then joins Ian for the latest installment of Nine Lives where The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances are put under the microscope.

Last but not least, Michele speaks to James and Ian about a multi-Doctor story that brings the First and Second Doctors together in Daughter of the Gods.

All that plus – Drew and James critically analyse contributions to the world of singing……from John Barrowman and William Shatner. Oh dear.
