Happy New Year!

It’s new Doctor Who!

Join James and Phil as they review the first episode of Season 12 of Doctor Who that aired on New Year’s Day.

Keep your feedback coming in, it’s been prolific so far! We will run a special Fan Reaction DWP soon. feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com is the e-mail address you need, or you can reach us on Twitter or on Facebook.

Merry Christmas! Join teams from both sides of the Atlantic as James, Phil, Ian, Drew, Michele and Brent serve up a dollop of festive goodness, DWP style!

So do they discuss one of the many Doctor Who Christmas Specials? The Snowmen or Last Christmas perhaps? A Christmas Carol even? Well, no. They don’t. Instead they choose to discuss that well known Seventh Doctor Christmas classic, The Curse of Fenric. Of course they do.

Join the crew soon for Episode 301 when they’ll be discussing Spyfall, the first episode of Series 12 – and in the meantime, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Don’t forget to get in touch – feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, on Twitter or on Facebook.

Enjoy the show – and Merry Christmas!

It’s a bonus episode of the DWP! Join Brent and James for additional campervan goodness as they talk about Big Finish‘s Third Doctor Short Trip, Landbound.

It’s Episode 299 of The Doctor Who Podcast! Join James, Phil, Ian, Drew and Michele as they take the ol’ Campervan out for its monthly spin.

New Doctor Who is on the way – just over a month to go until Season 12 hits our tellyboxes. Phil and James pick over the newly released trailer and try (but fail) to contain their excitement!

The 2003 Big Finish Unbound story Sympathy for the Devil goes under Drew and Michele’s microscope and Ian returns to talk about the Season One stories Dalek and The Long Game. Add to that a discussion about the upcoming animation of Fury from the Deep – what more could you possibly ask for?!

Don’t forget to get in touch – feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, on Twitter or on Facebook.

Enjoy the show.

It’s Episode 298 of The Doctor Who Podcast! Join James, Phil, Ian, Drew and Adam and they talk about Christopher Eccelston’s recent takeover of every Doctor Who fan’s social media feed – James met the man himself at his book launch and regales (bores) Phil as he recounts the meeting.

James and Phil also discuss Battle Scars – the recent ninth Doctor Short Trip from Big Finish written by Selim Ulug – whilst Adam travels back to 2008 and reviews Simon Guerrier‘s Sara Kingdom Companion Chronicle, Home Truths.

Add to that part three of our Nine Lives series where Ian and Drew put Aliens of London and World War Three under the microscope – and you have a shiny, brand new new edition of The Doctor Who Podcast!

Enjoy the show.

Join the DWP team after their summer break for a brand new trip in the Campervan!

Phil and Ian share the driving this month and discuss the passing of a Who legend, Mr Terrance Dicks.

Michele and Drew take a look back at the Joseph Lidster 2003 Big Finish play, “Master” (guess what’s that’s about) before Phil regales Ian with stories from this year’s Whooverville convention. Add to that a dose of Stephen talking about The End of the World (natural pessimist that he is) and the zombie horror flick otherwise know as The Unquiet Dead, then you have 55 brand new and sparkly minutes of DWP goodness!

Don’t forget to get in touch – feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, on Twitter or on Facebook.

Enjoy the show!

Welcome to Episode 295 of The Doctor Who Podcast!

Join the team as they geekout over the latest Who News, talk about how to deal with being self-conscious when dressed as The War Doctor in a coffee shop, talk Daleks versus Mechanoids in a review of Big Finish‘s The Juggernauts and re-visit Bill Pott’s introduction in a retrospective of Season 10’s The Pilot – the opening episode of Peter Capaldi’s final series as The Doctor

Several of our wonderful listeners have spotted that our Series 2 episodes are little longer (in the case of Episode 294, a *lot* longer!) than they were back in the olden days. The move to a monthly release schedule has allowed us to record more segments and produce longer episodes.

Not every episode of the DWP will use the multi-segment/multi-host format of #293 to #295 – we will mix it up a little occasionally to keep you (and us) on our collective toes! However, including the “contents” of each Episode in the show notes will allow you to locate/skip to or over a specific segment if you choose. We are looking at introducing chapter markers in future episodes, but in the meantime here is a list of segments in this episode:

00:00 to 16:35 Introduction and news (James, Phil and Ian)
16:35 to 32:05 Big Finish: The Juggernauts review (Drew and Michele)
32:10 to 58:17 Cosplay: what, why, how and does it cost loads? (Phil, Stephen and Drew)
58:17 to 01:14:37 Featured Episode review – The Pilot (James, Phil and Ian)
1:15:12 Outro (James, Phil and Ian)
1:18:48 VAM!!
