Join Phil, Michele, Ian, Drew and Brent as they take time out to celebrate the Fortieth anniversary of the Fifth Doctor – yes, it’s been forty years since we saw Peter Davison play the Doctor for the first time in Castravalva!

Debut Who returns with Black Orchid and then attention turns to Secrets of Telos, the first adventure in the celebratory release from Big Finish in the cryptically entitled “Forty“.

Drew and Brent drop by after returning from a trip to the 1960 with a ten minute review of the Tomb of the Cybermen.

Yes it’s that time of year in Doctor Who Podcast-land when the hosts stay the same, but the podcast changes, as our world collides with that of Who & Company.

This time, Drew, Brent Michele and James join forces to talk about the latest animated missing story, Evil of the Daleks.

We’ll be back later this month with two further episodes in which celebrate forty years of the fifth doctor – and make fools of ourselves in our 2022 predictions show.

You can get in touch by sending an email to us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, finding us on Twitter or joining the discussion on our Facebook page!

Enjoy the show.

Join James, Michele and Ian as they attempt to unpick the Who-news and the (frankly bonkers) rumours bouncing around the vortex presently. They also take a swift canter though their latest Big Finish listening which this month includes the Sixth Doctor and Peri story The Widow’s Assassin (which ties in nicely with the recent Season 22 Blu-ray announcement) and recent releases from the Torchwood range.

Ian drops in to fill another gap in his classic viewing and record his thoughts on The Mutants, a just mere fifty years after initial transmission. Spoilers!

We’ll be back in Episode 337 with our predictions for 2022! What do YOU think will happen in The Worlds of Doctor Who over the next twelve months?! Get in touch with the campervan in the usual way! No, not by shouting at us (!), but by sending an email to feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, finding us on Twitter or on Facebook!

Enjoy the show!

Join Ian and James and they continue to fill in the (frankly criminal) gaps in Ian’s Who-viewing. This time, they focus on The Brain of Morbius which Ian saw for the first time last week – a mere 45 years after it first aired. What did he think of it?! Tune in to this bonus episode of the DWP to find out!

As always, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, get in touch on Twitter or search for us on Facebook.

Enjoy the show!

Our third Episode in eight days?! Just what is going on! Phil and James are joined by Jean and Adam of Staggering Stories fame as they record outside the BFI on the South Bank of the Thames. This afternoon, the BFI screened the soon-to-be-released-on animated of version of Galaxy 4.

We’ll be back shortly (within the next couple of days) with our review of Chapter 2 of Flux, War of the Sontarans!

Enjoy the show!

In another timey-wimey epsiode of the DWP, Michele, James, Phil and Ian join you for an hour’s amble through the various eras of Doctor Who. Timey-wimey you say? Well yes – this was recorded before Russell T Davies played HAVOC with our scheduling, so it misses the recent Series 13 and the latest Blu Ray announcements This will be remedied shortly!

We do however cover the new Galaxy Four animation and the wonderful news that Christopher Eccleston is returning to Big Finish for another series of Ninth Doctor audio adventures.

The lions share of this episode however covers The Romans which Phil, Ian and James discuss – and then we dive into some Big Finish goodness as James and Michele review the recent Sixth Doctor release, The Eleven. If all that temporal confusion and strange numbering doesn’t confuse you, nothing will!

We will be back shortly with our preview of Season 13 which will be back on our telly boxes in just a couple of weeks.

Enjoy the show!

Join Michele, James and Brent for the latest skit around the Whoniverse.

This time around James and Michele discuss The End of the Beginning (the final play in Big Finish‘s long running Monthly Range) just before Brent returns to the campervan in his swimming shorts, Hawaiian shirt and a sunhat for his session on the DWP’s very own desert island.

As always, we’d love to hear from you. Send in your thoughts and feedback (audio or written) on anything Who or DWP related and we’ll discuss on an upcoming episode. Email us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, get in touch on Twitter or search for us on Facebook.

Enjoy the show, and we’ll be back next month!

The voices are the same but the podcast is different….. or something! Join Drew, Brent, Michele and James in the now-annual tradition of beginning the New Year reviewing a recently animated classic Doctor Who story. This time, it’s the turn of The Faceless Ones.

Who & Company is a wonderful podcast hosted by Brent and Drew that has it’s roots firmly in Doctor Who fandom, however the subject matter of regular episodes goes far beyond the confines of the Whoniverse. Once a year however, the parallel worlds of the two shows converge and the focus is on squarely on classic Who.

W&C has a distinctly different tone to that of the DWP. It’s an easy listen, more laid back and less rushed. So pull up a lounger, grab a mug of coffee and get comfy and listen to four friends chew the fat about a classic Patrick Troughton story in Episode 49 of Who & Company, also known as Special 13 of the DWP.

Enjoy the show!

Happy New Year!

In a last minute change of plans, Ian and James talk about the annoucement that Series 24 is coming to Blu-ray! So lots of McCoy geekery – and James gets to talk about Delta and the Bannerman *again*!

Then, in the first of a new feature, conversation turns to a classic story that Ian saw for the first time just last week. Yes, it turns out dear listeners, that some of the Campervan Crew have not seen every classic story. Can you believe it?! Upon learning this frankly scandalous news, James embarked on a mission to fill in the gaping chasms in his co-presenter’s fandom as quickly as possible. The first story under the microscope is……well, that would be telling! But the coverart might give you hint. Expect to travel back in time nearly 60 years – or 960 years, depending on your perspective. Time is relative you know!

We’ll be back with Episode 319 in February for the delayed return of our predictions show – when we try to guess what will happen in the Whoniverse over the coming year. What do YOU think will happen?! Get in touch to let us know by emailing us at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, tweeting us on Twitter or joining us on our Facebook page.

Enjoy the show.

Merry Christmas! Campervans from both sides of the Atlantic park up alongside each other and celebrate Christmas in true panto style! James, Phil and Ian take a festive look at The Horns of Nimon whilst Brent, Michele and Drew discuss their favourite Christmas editions of our funny little show that has kept us all going throughout such an unusual year. 2020? It’s behind us! Oh yes it is! Well nearly, anyway.

And going one better than last year we have not one, but two – that’s right, TWO DWP quizzes! Not enough?! Well, howabout we through in a review of Big Finish‘s Doctor Who and The Pirates as well?!

So join the DWP crew for a truly swashbuckling, pantomimey christmas special edition of The Doctor Who Podcast. You remain of course, Most Welcome.

Merry Christmas!
