News:

Coming up in Episode 208.......it's almost here! After 7 episodes and nearly two months of Doctor Who on Saturday evenings, the final episode of series 7 airs this coming weekend. Join us in the campervan as we review THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR!  My money's on Bruce.....

Feedback always welcome (keep it brief!) at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com - audio feedback under two minutes is prefered and stands a far better chance of making it onto a future DWP.

I hope that they're left in a position to fight another day - there are only so many times that can be totally destroyed to claw their way back to a major threat without really stretching credulity.

I always found Daleks to be the scariest as a kid, I can still remember the nightmares!

My theory is that when it comes to important subjects, there’s only two ways a person can answer. For instance there’s two kinds of people in this world, Cybermen people and Dalek people. Now Dalek people can like Cybermen. And Cybermen people can like the Daleks. But nobody likes them both equally. Somewhere you have to make a choice. And that choice tells me who you are.

Honestly, I think the Daleks and Cybermen as my LEAST favorite villains. Also, I know they always say that the Daleks ALWAYS come back... however, at the end of Journeys End, the Doctor leave the 1/2 human version of himself with Rose, and he says that he has to leave them there because the 1/2 human Doctor had committed genocide.

Any thoughts?

People here are missing the obvious

Journeys End was set in 2008, when the daleks all got wiped out.
This episode is set in Winston Churchills time... Before the daleks got wiped out!

Re: The Obvious...

I'm not too worried about issues like that. Time machine, change past, timeywimey, multiple histories, sorted. If you want to be totally linear, you'd have to have a Dalek make reference to Matt Smith's doctor in a Troughton episode :)

AHHHHHHHHH Good point! I completely missed that! I wasn't even thinking about that. Good point! I stand corrected.  ;)
