News:

Coming up in Episode 208.......it's almost here! After 7 episodes and nearly two months of Doctor Who on Saturday evenings, the final episode of series 7 airs this coming weekend. Join us in the campervan as we review THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR!  My money's on Bruce.....

Feedback always welcome (keep it brief!) at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com - audio feedback under two minutes is prefered and stands a far better chance of making it onto a future DWP.

I enjoy the DWOwhocast (except the cat commentary) but there is always a feeling of complete knowledge or opinion which can be off putting as it feels that if i were to express a view then it would be looked at with distain...... look at that I'm just as a guilty as I've just given my opinion :o

Siobhan (Tony) is a world-class rambler.  There's maybe a bit too much time spent discussing cats (although nowhere near as much as on the Flashing Blade).   I like the interplay between her and Dave, though.  They're perfectly matched curmudgeons.

I agree completely. Much as I enjoy Siobhan sparring with Viki and/or Bob on The Flashing Blade, there's nothing better than she and Dave going back and forth on the WHOcast. Just two old friends giving each other the business in the context of Doctor Who discussion (for the most part -- they can get a bit tangential at times).

Admittedly, this might not be as enjoyable for the younger listeners, but I'm of an age with Siobhan and Dave, and it works for me.

The ABC's admirable Science Show podcast put me onto Radio Lab - an American Public Radio podcast about science that's heaps of fun.  Presenters keep interrupting each other in a friendly way and the science stories are very interesting.

So glad to know that someone else here enjoys RadioLab. It's one of my favorites as well.

Just wanted to post something somewhere about the fact that i'm a wanna-be Doctor Who podcaster with podcasting experience and basically i'm just wondering if anyone needs an extra podcaster or is thinking of starting a podcast.

I'd love to be on one!

What would you want to talk about mainly new Who, classic Who or a mix?

Hmmm. Looks like those scoundrels at the Doctor Who Bookclub Podcast have poached another member of the DWP team to do the reading for their monthly selection.

Not sure if any of you have mentioned this but be sure to check out the Doctor Who Audio Dramas. It is a full cast drama, like Big Finish, just with fictional doctors, got me into the world of Podcasting. If you want to listen to it, pick any episode you want, just stay away from the Backbone of Night
