News:

Coming up in Episode 212.....it's the final piece of coverage from the Big Blue Box 2 convention, James hosts the on-stage writers panel featuring Simon Guerrier, Andrew Smith and Nigel Fairs.

Feedback always welcome (keep it brief!) at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com - audio feedback under two minutes is prefered and stands a far better chance of making it onto a future DWP.

Returning classic villain confirmed for S7, and some episode titles
« on: February 14, 2013, 09:19:53 AM »
Just what had been suspected by our venerable DWP hosts:

The Ice Warriors are returning! They're in Mark Gatiss' episode aboard the submarine.

Also, Wikipedia has a list of several titles which you may or may not have heard before. (All titles are verified by official sources in the links.)

The first return episode is called "Phantom of the Hex," which sounds like either a Scooby-Doo episode or a Star Wars prequel.  ;D Still, I like the title and I'm sure it will make more sense once we see the episode.

The fifth episode after the return (and the 11th of Season 7 overall) is entitled "Journey to the Center of the TARDIS," so it looks like we're finally getting the TARDIS-based adventure that we've been clamoring for!

Neil Gaiman's episode is called "The Last Cyberman." I believe it was originally intended for earlier in the season, but now it's going to air the week before the finale. That also means that there won't be a two-part finale, which is also what we experienced in Season 6.

Episode 14 (the final episode) still hasn't been named, but that's the episode to feature the return of Vastra, Jenny and Strax.

Lots of very interesting season tidbits, I think!

As I am sure Tom is well aware, BBC have announced all the remaining titles for the season, and changed one or two since his post above in February. Also, his link is broken. I think this should work to take people to the Wikipedia page for Doctor Who Season Seven: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who_(series_7)

If you aren't interesting in following the link, the Gaiman episode is now scheduled to be titled Nightmare in Silver. The return of the strange Victorian trio of the Silurian, her wife, and their resurrected Sontaran man-servant is to be called The Crimson Horror.

I'm looking forward to it all!

Thanks for the corrections, Elvis!

Yeah, some things have definitely changed, and the final episode of this set has just received its name: "The Name of the Doctor." I can't wait!!  :D
