I had some huge issues with this one. Being such a big fan of classic series Cybermen, I have felt cheated ever since the Cybus Industries Human 2.0 came onto our screens and were claimed to be Cybermen. These new series Cybermen have been treated as weak and stupid and this episode was a waste for them. Why has the method of converting people changed yet again? Why not use some random alien threat? Was it cheaper because the costumes were already available? And this love conquers all theme has run one time too many. No, I liked the interaction between the Doctor, Craig and Stormy, but this one ranks with Love and Monsters in my book.

LOVE can do anything in the Moffatverse.  Did you notice the love-powered navigation in the last Chrissy special?

yours, typing this on  a computer powered by a photo of my dear wife, in a room lit by me thinking loving thoughts about my only child.....on thursday I'm going to fly to Japan by attaching a picture of my mother to the chair in front of me and shouting 'Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!" all the way to Narita airport (although that last one could be because we're flying Jetstar.  It'll be hell on the lungs, but that's the power of love)

Power of love. Great, now I'm going to have Huey Lewis going through my head. Must watch Back to the Future now. . .   :)

basically I'm with Edwardian Cricketer on this.  The talking to the baby bit was cute, but I'm not a big James Corden fan anyway and the beatability of the cybermen was a real let down.  The set up (cybermats, mysterious disapearances etc) was great, but what's the point if they can be beaten so easily.  Might as well have gotten Stormy to swat them with his rattle.

LOL! I'd love to see that as an alternate ending on the DVD!  ;D

Just watched this one last night.  Had a couple of quick thoughts:

It was nice to see Craig again.  I kind of hope we'll get to see him again in the future.

The ending was rushed and felt contrived.  I like how the Doctor helps Craig become a great dad.  They didn't really need the Cybermen to accomplish that though.  That whole bit just felt tacked on.
