Roy Skelton, voice of the Daleks and other DW monsters in the classic era has died of a stroke aged 79.

RIP. Lovely man.

Does anyone else here also own the 'Years' videos that JNT produced in the early 90s? Roy Skelton was a wonderful interviewee in the CYbermen and Daleks Early Years videos and I wondered why those have never been reused or reproduced in the current DVD releases.

I saw him recently on the Genesis of the Daleks documentaries and yes he was a great interviewee

I kept ignoring this thread because I thought, "What does comedian Red Skelton have to do with Doctor Who?" (Seriously!) Oops! Now I see.

Very sad about this loss. He was a great contributor to the series.
